You can get altitude sickness if you travel to a high altitude too quickly. Breathing becomes difficult because you're not able to take in as much oxygen.
Altitude sickness, also called acute mountain sickness (AMS), can become a medical emergency if ignored.
Your age, sex or physical fitness do not affect your likelihood of getting altitude sickness.
Also, just because you may not have had it before, this does not mean you will not get it on another trip.
Our pharmacist can provide medication to prevent and treat the condition.

Visited today after a doctor's referral for a blood pressure check. I really dislike having my blood pressure taken and readings are always a challenge. After the lovely welcome and explanation I received before mine was taken today, I've had the best results and my reading was normal! Thank you for taking the time you did with me today and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to others. 5 star service indeed

I absolutely love Harry's Pharmacy. Tried two other pharmacies before, one of them Boots, and every month I would have to call the doctor's office and the pharmacy several times just to get my repeat medications. Harry's has had them ready every single time they are due and the staff couldn't be lovelier. If you live in or near Stretford you should be using Harry's Pharmacy. You'll thank me later.
Thank you for contacting the Pharmacy. We will contact you if we require any additional information or to update you.
